Marco Rafalá is a fiction writer and musician. He co-hosts the Guerrilla Lit Reading Series held every last Wednesday of the month at Jimmy’s No. 43 in New York City. As a musician, he has opened for The Psychedelic Furs, The The and The Fixx, and has contributed to the Nine Inch Nails tribute album, Recovered in Nails for Cleopatra Records. Marco received his MFA in Fiction from The New School in New York and his writing has appeared in the Bellevue Literary Review. The forthcoming, The Blood of Saints, is his debut novel.
Camellia Phillips is a fiction writer, as well as a longtime grantwriter with nonprofit organizations focused on social justice and civic engagement. Her short fiction is forthcoming in CALYX Journal and was a finalist for Glimmer Train’s December 2011 Fiction Open contest. Her nonfiction has been published in Voices of a New Generation: A Feminist Anthology (Allyn and Bacon 2003). She earned an MFA from The New School, and received a writing residency at Blue Mountain Center.
